PERIOD UNDERWEAR SUBSIDIES
Many municipalities in Quebec offer financial assistance for reusable menstrual products. Depending on the program, some washable bladder-leak protection products or period swimwear may also qualify.
Before you buy: check eligible products, minimum spending, purchase-location requirements and available funding with your municipality. Keep your itemized receipt and proof of residence, then submit your official application within the required time.
Reimbursement is provided by the municipality and is not guaranteed. Criteria vary by program; a SOJE purchase is not automatically eligible.

Sources checked November 1, 2026. This selection is not exhaustive. If your region is not listed, ask local community organizations or your school about available support.
iA — Wellness Account
Depending on your group benefits plan, a Wellness Account may reimburse menstrual products, including underwear, cups and discs. Ask your plan administrator to confirm product eligibility and the documents required before buying. Coverage for a SOJE purchase is not automatic.

Free menstrual products for people in Canada facing barriers to access. Reusable options may be available. The organization identifies priority communities; requests depend on inventory, donations and capacity. Start through its intake process.
